Samantha was exactly what I needed in the midst of my career pivot when I ended my 16 year career of mentoring student athletes as a collegiate coach.
She was truly my GPS to navigate a historically difficult process. She helped me to clarify that I was most interested in Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy. We identified my transferable skills, restructured my resume and my LinkedIn profile, and she masterfully prepped me for my interviews. What is special about this work and my time with Samantha is that it is singularly focused on my career.
I have a space to talk about navigating coworker relationships, performance goals, etc. In the past, I’ve found that career related concerns bleed into conversations with my “traditional” therapist or with friends and family, but neither of those spaces offers me the problem-solving that my space with Samantha does and that is so needed. Samantha also has been helping me navigate a major industry transition, as I moved from the nonprofit space to tech/pharma. Samantha helped me craft a career narrative that I am proud of, and one that feels really unique to me. The investment is worth it.
